Coffee Shop Sesh

Vancouver, Canada

Hey guys, welcome to “Coffee Shop Sesh” with Amanda.

Coffee Shop Sesh is when I chill in coffee shops and write.  I normally get a snack and a drink, pull out a notepad, listen to music, chit chat with those around me and just relax, basically.  As well as catch up with family and friends and share stuff through social media.  Its a time for me where I’m pretty productive, yet, chill.  Its kinda like being in the comfort of your own home watching tv or your favorite show on netflix from the sofa.  I enjoy it so much I could spend hours just sitting, writing, watching cars and people move as time becomes non existent.  As some of you may not know, I’ve been travelling around the world for basically 2 and a half years and where I am sitting right now, is where I used to sit when I lived in Vancouver.  Since I left this place in December 2014, my stuffs been sitting in a storage unit and I’ve pretty much been homeless since. Yet, I now feel like I have homes around the world.  I didn’t have any family in Vancouver when I moved there by myself from Ontario, and since I’ve been travelling I feel like I have family everywhere now.  Thats the magic of getting outside your comfort zone and adventuring out into the unknown.  From getting “adopted” by a family in India and a monk in Thailand, I learned that there are people out there who are waiting for my presence and those whose presence I am longing to meet, which is why I can’t stay in one place.  I want to meet people of the world!  So for now, I’m going to just keep on keeping on an go where the wind takes me.  Have to say, its been working out pretty well so far.

Tata for now,
