Day in Vancouver

11:56am – Vancouver, BC

I thought it was Friday.

Haha.  I am sitting in an Irish Bar surrounded by men in green shirts.  I am reminded of my good friend William from Ireland who I met in Bali.  This place would be a gong show if he was here!  We’d probably be dancing on the car already singing chants that have to do with Irish people being awesome.

Not a bad place to blog though.  Soccers my favorite sport.  My friend just called me who I met on a yatch yesterday and were going for lunch.  I’m getting picked up in 10 minutes so this won’t be a long post.  I really don’t have anything in particular to write about, I just wanted to write.  Another friend recently told me that the key to success for any artist is to be consistant in creating content and putting it out in the world.  So this is a glimpse of content in the life I am living.  As I go about my days, all different things happen and I am never at the same place doing the same thing at the same time on the same days.  Everyday is unique and as I live I just walk into things happening and go with the flow.

This morning I took my friends dog for a walk and there was a 420 festival happening on the seawall in English Bay.  I was surprised that they were selling edibles and joints out in the open. Apparently its not legal to do that, but they are trying to make it legal and are doing it anyways.   I’m not good at staying away from free samples.  They pretty much had something at every booth to try.  One woman was selling maple weed syrup, it was actually pretty good.  I said “thats so Canadian, do people eat them with pancakes?”  To which she responded “Yeah, I lowered the dose in it though because people get carried away with the syrpup and just pour it all over.”  Lol.  Sounds about right.

Time to go for lunch!!  Then I’m going to the PNE to go on rides and eat cotton candy with my friend from elementary school!! 😛
